the CBR's are niiiice bikes.

I'm debating selling my SV (once I finish it) and seeing if I can pick up a Speed triple R.

Why sell? The SV is a great bike except for the suspension and it looks like you'll have that sorted out soon enough. I'll probably sell mine this spring, but that's just because I don't want to revamp my suspension. It's a great street and track bike, and I have no problem keeping up with the 600's and literbikes except for the longer straights.

My bike isn't inside, but I did buy a heavy duty cover and put the stabilizer in the gas tank right before the blizzard. I took some nice pics right before I put it away though.

It needs some love with the buffer and possibly a paint gun or plasti-dip. I know I want to keep it dark red though. I'm tempted to rent a paint gun from home depot, get a gallon of candy apple red and re-shoot the whole thing. I did some pretty good repairs on my old buick using just some rattle cans and a driveway so I figure I could make a small paint booth on my balcony and just bring the parts up. I also want a round headlight instead of a square, but that's me.

Round headlight for sure, I'd probably go with different handlebars and bar end mirrors which are both cheap. That's just me though. If you need a spray gun for plasti dip I have one you can borrow! The white on my SV is plasti dip, easy to do and no need for a paint booth.

I'd keep my SV for sure if it had a gsxr swap!

If I can mix the color I want, I'll do dip but otherwise I'll just buy some automotive paint and shoot the parts with that. The tank has some small nicks and dents anyways that need attention.

I was wondering if you planned to switch that to a round headlight; I just can't fathom how the 80's worked in that regard. I agree that is probably the best thing to do for the looks of your bike.
